The Sea Salt Neroli Aperitif

  • Serves one:
  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 0.25 oz. Créme de Violate
  • 0.5 oz. Orange Curacao
  • 0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 2 dashes Cardamom Bitters
  • An Organic Rose Petal, to garnish

Begin crafting your cocktail by combining gin, crème de violate, orange curacao, lemon juice and cardamom bitters. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a single rose petal. Serve and enjoy.

Creating a cocktail that defies expectations is one thing, creating an entire evening is quite another. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of considerations to conjure the perfect introductory moment for your next evening.

Consider the Vessel

Serve your libations in playful glassware or a vessel with unexpected, elegant details. Both variations offer great conversation starters.

Greet them at the Door

Always have hors d’oeuvres, sparkling water and cocktails ready for guests when they walk through the door. Not only does this prove you’re a gracious host or hostess, but it allows guests to become acquainted.

Set the Scene

When choosing the space for the occasion, think about the season and theme you wish to express — perhaps an impeccably decorated terrace where guests can enjoy their cocktails while basking in the setting sun.
